My approach in-person is to develop relationship and work through issues, troubles, and hurt with discussion about God’s Word, His heart for humanity, and practical ways to overcome and to thrive.
Like what we build in-person we work together to build relationship and understanding across the innovation of technology through video and phone calls, emails, and social media to give you a caring place to unburden and find answers.
The actual counseling and discipleship are done free of charge as a ministry to the community.
However, donations to support the work and growth of the ministry are accepted as the Lord leads a counselee or family to give. Suggested donation amounts are $60/session for individuals, and $80/session for couples. However, any amount is appreciated. Don’t allow money to keep you from pursuing counsel.
I have a heart for marriage and families. From pre-marital counseling, to working through adolescence, to helping the married couple to sort through hurt and shame… we apply God’s Word directly to heart and the nerve of issues, troubles, and questions.
Scripture is a gift, and it isn’t for a select few but for everyone, everywhere. We see all of Scripture is for all of life and seek to help others to find their hope in it.

Hi, I’m Aaron Barnes. I’m a certification candidate through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) and hold a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty University. I come from a reformed, conservative theological perspective and believe with conviction that God's Word is sufficient and authoritative for all matters of life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).
I’ve been joyfully married for 33 years—years filled not only with love and family, but also with a lot of life, and some dark nights of the soul. I’m a father of three and have come to understand that real hope and help come only through the grace and truth of Jesus Christ.
My heart is to walk with others through their own seasons of struggle, offering Christ-centered, Scripture-saturated care for the soul. I’d be honored to walk with you through whatever challenges you’re facing.
